Approach to Coaching

Our coaching focuses on clarifying goals and specific steps required to achieve those goals. We will discuss intermediate and long-term goals and related action plans. Frequently, we discuss personal vision and values statements and how they connect to the organization they serve. If the client is a leader, discuss their leadership plan. We provide accountability for the implementation of this leadership plan.

We blend coaching questions with guidance on using tools such as Korn Ferry's Emotional and Social Competency Inventory 360 Assessment and leadership models to assist the client in accomplishing their goals. We periodically provide advice to specific situations. Our goal is for the client to achieve desired outcomes and to model a coaching culture in their organization.

Coaching sessions will be confidential. However, there may be periodic discussions with the responsible manager to calibrate areas of focus and progress indicators on agreed-upon goals.
